Classic Fountain Pen

Manufactured in America by A W Farrer called the Independent model. Produced in hard rubber material with an ornate chased pattern work probably finished by hand and having a gold filled trim band at each end of the barrel section, the gold plating being in perfect condition.

Ink filling by eyedrop method, the internal rod with attached fine needle wire is extractable for cleaning. The pens length is 13 centimetres. Ideal as a desk pen for the dedicated collector of writing instruments.
