| A circa 1915 to 1920 De La Rue ONOTO fountain pen. Ink filling by unscrewing the end of barrel knob section and extracting the rod, pump method.
At the mouth of the cap and at the forward nib end of the barrel are two large hallmarked 18K. gold trim bands, each being 1cm. wide. There is no manufacturer's engraved wording visible on the barrel. The gold nib is a De La Rue "ONOTO 3 London", in perfect condition (the nib predates the introduction of engraving the gold carat content on gold nibs). The length is 14.6cm.overall.
