| A 1936 Mabie Todd and Company Jackdaw fountain pen. Engraved around the end of the barrel is the word FINE and on the center the engraved wording JACKDAW SELF FILLING PEN M T & Co Ltd is clear and sharp. The 14 carat gold Jackdaw nib is in superb condition.
A pen originally sold at a price of just 5 shillings and six pennies. Fitted with a nickel plated optional detachable pocket clip of a then new design replacing the ball end with a swiveling device which secured the pen in the coat pocked, preventing it from falling out. Side lever ink filling. A new rubber ink sac has been fitted. Length of 13.3 centimetres.
