Classic Fountain Pen

A circa 1940s fountain pen of unknown manufacture. Nickel plated alloy material. The pen length is 13cm. Having a ball end pocket clip. Ink filling is by side lever action, on the side lever the word FOREIGN is engraved. The silver plated nib has O K FOREIGN engraved on it, much of the nibs silver plating has eroded away exposing areas of brass base metal.

This pen probably was a promotional item. Contained in the original pen box there are 4 gift coupons each of 3 pence in value. Originally priced at 5 Shillings,as printed on the box. An interesting pen for the collector of out of the ordinary pens.
