| The first retail shop selling Namiki fountain pens in England had been opened at number 91 to 93 Bishopsgate London and was trading well by 1927 when the joint venture business initiative agreement formed during the early 1900s between the Alfred Dunhill company and the Japanese Namiki company was implemented.
New London retail showrooms were then opened at Duke Street, St James, and at Notting Hill London by 1930.
From the series of modern day Alfred Dunhill fountain pens, such as this AD2000, it appears that the component parts were made by the Japanese Namiki fountain pen company.
Beautifully finished in the colour termed Azure blue and with radiance of quality this as new classic Dunhill pen has a medium point size flared wing design 18 carat gold nib with a ball tip.
Complete with presentation case, outer slip case and with the owners manual booklet.
