Description

Manufactured in the late 1930s by Swan Mabie Todd & Co Ltd. A Blackbird flat top cap model BB2 60 fountain pen in black celluloid material polish finished to a good sheen. The word BLACKBIRD is engraved around the top of the cap. Nickel plated ball end pocket clip which has the outline image of the Blackbird engraved on it.

Some light chased patterning of fine lines on the barrel. The engraved Blackbird emblem on the barrel with the wording BLACKBIRD MABIE TODD & Co Ltd is sharp and clear as if recently engraved. Side lever. Ink filling a replacement rubber ink sac has been fitted. The BLACKBIRD 14 carat gold broad point nib is in an as new condition.
