This rare and delightful ink pencil and case would once have belonged to the mistress of the castle, or the chateau.
The lady mistress of the estate would have worn this pen attached to her dress belt or fixed to her dress like a brooch.
The outer case would of course hold either an eye dropper ink fountain pen, which was more likely, or an ink pencil.
