| Listed as being one of the five models of fountain pens permitted to be manufactured during the wartime years. This Conway Stewart pen has a prototype design of gold plated side lever which is slightly raised to facilitate ink filling. The Conway Stewart 14 carat gold medium point size nib is in as new condition.
Records suggest that the earliest of the model 479 pens may have been launched in 1928. A new rubber ink sac has been fitted. |
