| A rare 1930 Conway Stewart International model 350 very small baby, not the miniature model, fountain pen 9.2 centimetres in length. Clearly engraved on the barrel is No 350. In all respects this pen is identical to the Conway Stewart classic model, a baby version of the 350 International in scaled down proportions.
Conway Stewart produced their 350 International model between 1930 to 1933 a relatively short run of production. Manufactured in hard rubber with the usual chased waves effect patterning. In absolutely pristine condition. Ink filling is by side lever. A new rubber ink sac has been fitted. The nib is a 14 carat gold warranted medium point size in excellent condition.
Characteristic of the 1920s when many pen companies used these warranted nibs. A highly desirable pen collectors piece. And very very rare indeed. |
