| The series of Dandy pens were produced as a clip less pen available in a wide range of mottled and plain colours which became quite popular throughout the 1930s era, production of this model 720 ceased in 1942. Manufactured in about the late 1930s to 1942 period in black celluloid material this Dandy pen has been fitted with a later diamond end style clip as opposed to the earlier ball end design Conway Stewart pocket clip. The wording 'The Dandy Pen Conway Stewart' with the model '720' is clearly engraved on the barrel section. Ink filling is by side lever method. A new rubber ink sac has been fitted. The medium point size 14 carat gold Conway Stewart nib being in perfect condition. |
