| This model is of course just one from the Conway Stewart diverse range, generally each model having some resemblance to another but with minor design variations. The 475 was one of the favoured fountain pens which sold well. Introduced in 1931 the production run lasted until about early 1942 during World War II. This pen appears more likely to be from the 1935 to 1940 production period. Manufactured in black celluloid with a plain smooth gloss polished finish. The pocket clip and the side lever are nickel plated. The superb medium broad left oblique authentic Conway Stewart 14 carat gold nib is perfect. A new rubber ink sac has been fitted. An excellent pen for daily use and also in excellent condition. |
