| An early Conway Stewart fountain pen manufactured in black vulcanite material with a chased pattern of fine lines forming the shape of chevrons each group separated by plain lanes.
The design of the globe shaped lifting end of the side lever with the entwined CS initials engraved on it suggests an early model probably made before Conway Stewart introduced their lock down safety side lever in 1924. The ball end design pocket clip has the entwined CS initials emblem engraved on it. No model name or model number is engraved on the pens barrel.
A new rubber ink sac has been fitted. The Conway Stewart 14 carat gold fine point nib is in as new condition. A scarce early fountain pen of the Conway Stewart series. In pristine condition. |
