Early Wyvern Fountain Pen 1920s

A circa 1918 to 1923 Wyvern Fountain pen manufactured in black vulcanite material and finished with a chased patterning of dashed closely spaced fine wavy lines. Ink filling is by side lever method a new ink sac has been fitted. Having a fixed gold plated ball end pocket clip which has the larger type of ball end, some slight plating wear only on the high point of the clips ball. The 14 carat gold medium point size warranted nib is in excellent condition. Clearly engraved on the pens barrel is 'WYVERN PEN Co'. LONDON. An excellent fountain pen and an outstanding piece representing these early Wyvern pens of the period following the end of World War I.
