| The Eclipse fountain pen company was founded in San Francisco in 1903. In 1925 the company relocated to Canada and opened their factory at the Hermant Building in Toronto, some of the early Eclipse pens were fitted with gold nibs but most general models had nickel metal nibs.
This Eclipse Streamline model circa 1940s has the original Eclipse nickel medium slightly broad point size nib. Ink filling is by side lever method. A new rubber ink sac has been fitted. A distinctively designed and scarce model attractively coloured in varied shades of green pearl with a pattern of fine black cross hatch wavy lines. |
