Manufactured in red ripple sometimes called red wood grain pattern which was a popular and eye catching pattern of the period, achieved by a method of blending red and black ebonite or vulcanite material. The 18 carat gold size 5 warranted medium point nib is in perfect condition, it was standard to fit 18 carat gold nibs in french pens or in pens produced in the U K bound for the market in France.
