Description
 
A Lamy 2000 luxury fountain pen made in West Germany. The clip is a solid billet of stainless steel spring loaded from inside the cap. Two tiny tabs in the section secure the cap with a satisfying click. Fitted with a ink piston filler of classic German make, it has a small ink viewing window section which can easily be removed for cleaning.
The barrel and the filler section are joined by almost invisible seams engineered to fine tolerances. The forward section features a brushed stainless hood. 14K gold nib is plated with platinum to harmonise with the austere colour scheme. A superb pen.
