A scarce Watermans fountain pen and propelling pencil set purchased in New York 1947. This prestigious Gold Starry model has 14 carat gold plate caps. Engraved on each of the caps is the 5 pointed star emblem, denoting this quality model see cap section inset picture.
The small size nib is in excellent condition and appears to be a F size. This superb set is housed in its original hard framed presentation case which still contains the Watermans 100 year guarantee, dated 1947. Both pens are working today just as well as they were in 1947.
A very desirable collectors piece.
