| Circa late 1930s. A Japanese military officer glass nib fountain pen. Made from bamboo. A new ink sac has been fitted. A rare pen. Some models of these Nomaki pens were fitted with a compass inset into the top of the cap.
In Europe, one of these pens was sold through the Bonham London auctioneers in 1993 listed as Lot 513 on 3rd December shown on catalogue page 53. |
