SOLD. A Parker 51 fountain pen manufactured in 1953. Having a 12 carat rolled gold cap which has an unusual red coloured peak blanking top inset into the crown of the cap. Probably the most successful model of pen ever made, a new stylish design of the period which was years ahead of its time, incorporating an advanced ink flow system and other features. Coloured actually in Aquamarine Green, although the pens image pictured here appears as if it is blue.The point of the gold Parker nib protruding from the hood section appears to be a medium size. Some signs of light use otherwise in excellent condition.
