Manufactured in 1946 by the Parker Pen Company of Janesville Wisconsin. A model 51 writing desk fountain pen the model number for this set is 165 with a Pedrara Onyx plinth. Ink filling is by vacuum pump mechanism called a vacumatic filling method, this is accessed for ink filling by unscrewing the end section of the pen. Produced in black lucite material. The exclusive Parker 51 plathenium tip nib is a medium point size. A scarce set virtually in as new condition. 1946 End of WWII in the Far East a historic year.
