SOLD. Parker model 61 Custom fountain pen circa mid 1970. Manufactured in black celluloid material. Parker Pens ceased production of the model 61 series in 1982, they are now becoming less easily obtainable in good condition. This pen has the aerometric pressure bar ink filling system as opposed to the more usual capillary method of ink filling. Having the 12 carat rolled gold cap which has the shield giving the gold thickness and the model number 61 engraved on the caps side. Fitted with the longer length 4.4 centimetres Parker arrow design pocket clip. The medium point size gold Parker 61 nib tip protruding from the protective hood section is in very good condition. Housed in its original presentation case, the silk type material lining has brown foxing stains. An excellent fountain pen and a collectible piece which is also a pleasure to have for everyday use.
