A comparatively modern model 75 French made fountain pen. The barrel section is finished with applied coatings of burgundy red lacquer, the photographed images shown misrepresent the true colour of this pen which appears to be a brighter red than the actual burgundy wine colour.
The gold electroplated fluted pattern cap section has a brilliant translucent red opal set into the top, on the side of the cap there is a blank cartouche for engraving.
The 14 carat gold nib is a medium point size.
Ink filling is by converter pump method, the converter piston can be removed if required to change over to insert an ink cartridge. New and unused.
