| Manufacturing of the Parker Consort series lasted from 1967 to 1969 this was a very short run of production hence the scarcity of the Consort design models.
This maroon 61 Consort is also a rarely found colour. A double jewel design having the Parker emblem silver grey pearl celluloid jewel stone inset at the top of the cap with another inset at the end of the pens barrel section.
The gold cap is exceptional having a double thickness 1 fifth thousandth of rolled gold enhanced with a grid pattern of vertical and horizontal lines.
The exclusive plathenium metal tip gold nib is a medium point size. Ink filling is by cartridge method, a converter could easily be fitted converting the filling method to aerometric pressure bar if preferred.
The Consort fountain pens are one of the rarest of the Parker 61 series. |
