Parker Deluxe Challenger

Parker Deluxe Challenger fountain pen circa 1937. Ink filling is by end of barrel button method. A new ink sac has been fitted. In about 1939 the shape of these Challenger series pens was redesigned. The tapered pocket clip with PARKER engraved on it was added, replacing the ball end type clip and the cap was fitted with only two gold plated trim bands instead of three. Fitted with a visometer ink supply system ie., a visual transparent part within the forward nib holding section. A superb Deluxe Challenger pen manufactured at the Parker Pen factory Janesville USA. Difficult to find now in such excellent condition. The Parker 14 carat gold nib is in as new condition, a medium point size. When capped the pen overall length is 5 inches. In just about as new condition.
