Parker Fountain Pen and Pencil 61 Set

Parker 61 fountain pen and propelling pencil set from the late 1950s, the 12 carat rolled gold caps having the inset plastic silver grey pearl jewel stone at the top of the cap and at the base end of the barrel. The tip of the nib extending from the forward hood section shows a medium size nib point. The capillary self filling method has only one drawback since if the pen is not used for a long time period the capillary might need to be flushed out with water and re filled, these fountain pens can be converted to aerometric pressure bar filling if preferred. A nice set housed in the original Parker presentation caseáand in excellent condition despite being about 50 years old.
