A 1970s Parker model 65 fountain pen. Having a 12 carat rolled gold cap and arrow pocket clip, the barrel section is coloured in grey. On the top of the cap the plastic grey jewel stone is inset, and another is inset into the end of the barrel blind cap. Ink filling is by aerometric method. The Parker 14 carat gold nib is in superb condition, a broad point size. In 1969 Parker pens firstly manufactured this model 65 as a variation of the popular model 61. The pens overall length when capped is 13.3 centimetres. An excellent well designed quality pen in pristine condition. |
