There are two slightly different design variations of this model, the fountain pen in this set has the flat top cap, the ballpoint pen and propelling pencil are activated by thumb press down to propel and to retract the pen or pencils writing point. The variation of this model made in France of the same style Cisele sterling silver three piece set, see item 655254 has the inset dimple top design with a twist action method to activate the ballpoint or the propelling pencil pens. Ink filling for the fountain pen is by aerometric pressure bar method. The medium point size 14 carat gold nib is engraved 585 USA there are calibrated angle settings for adjusting the nib. Manufactured in solid 925 sterling silver with gilt gold plated pocket clips. |
