Description

A rare circa 1910 Peter Pan miniature Eyedropper pen by Salz Bros. Having a silver ribbon ring inset at the top of the cap and finished by hand in silver overlay with hand engraved fleck patterning.

The gold nib engraved PONY is in perfect condition. The Salz brothers were established in New York as renowned jewellery traders specialising in gold and silver filigree work.

For their own private reasons both brothers, they actually were brothers, decided to return to Germany in or about late 1937 they never returned to New York, their tragic fate met in Germany remains unknown?.

These pens were popular and much used by fashionable Ladies who might also wear them as a pendant attached by the ribbon at society social events.
