The intricate Maki e raised artwork features two gold and silver roosters each shown in a fighting poise set within elaborately detailed and colourful foilage shown on a black urushi lacquer background highlighted with two silver clouds seen on the cap section.

A beautiful model number 1035 with the signed japanese characters of the artists name.

As new and unused a superb Makie fountain pen. The 18 carat gold Pilot size 10 nib has a medium point. Ink filling is by button pump activated piston method.

Housed in a wooden presentation case with an attractively shaped Japanese design bottle of ink.
