SOLD. Relief Esterbrook fountain pen in green marble model number 5L standard slender. Having the original 14 carat gold 5 Relief Esterbrook left oblique broad point size nib in excellent condition. Beautifully coloured in mottled shades of green pearls outlined with black veins. Having a domed shape cap top with red rim spacer. The nickel plated teardrop pocket clip is engraved RELIEF in open case lettering. Two gold plated trim bands and gold plated side lever engraved with the letter R on the side levers circular lifting section. The pens overall length when capped is 12.5 centimetres. The engraved wording on the barrel is clear R ESTERBROOK CO in script lettering, and RELIEF NO 5L engraved in capital letters. Ink filling is by side lever method. A new rubber ink sac has been fitted. Polish finished to a good sheen. A rare model and superb pen for the enthusiastic fountain pen collector investor.
