SOLD. Capable of measuring to one fifth of a second this Seiko automatic self winding watch can also measure accumulated elapsed time up to 30 minutes with a minute recorder. The Tachymeter can be used for measuring the hourly speed of travel and speed of such as machine production output operations. These watches are primarily designed for people interested in sporting activities or technical matters and others who require to record a precise time lapse event. The instant Set Start device sets all stopwatch hands to zero and re starts them instantly at the touch of the release button. The day of the week can be set to display in English or in Arabic the other language appears temporarily during the next day. This is a genuine authentic 1970s Seiko 6139, not to be confused with closely resembling reproduction watches. On the back the Seiko Japan identification registration six digit number is engraved. It also has the rare gold coloured dial face plate, by comparison with those produced with a blue dial face only a very few were fitted with the gold face. A Seiko printed paper leaflet provides full details of the many different settings available with directions for use.There are some scratch marks on the glass. Never again underboiled eggs!.
