Sheaffer Crest Pen Gold Cap Pastel Pink Barrel

A 1953 Sheaffer Crest De Luxe fountain pen coloured in pastel pink. The gold filled cap has a series of spaced vertical lines patterning each of varying length separated by plain lanes. Above the pocket clip is the White Dot guarantee emblem. Clearly engraved on the pens barrel is the wording 'W.A.SHEAFFER PEN Co. FORT MADISON IOWA U.S.A'. Sheaffer opened their Fort Madison factory in 1952. The superb two tone Triumph design 14k gold and platinum nib is a scarce fine point size in excellent condition. Ink filling is done by Snorkel method a paper leaflet which gives details of how to ink fill the pen is available. With the cap on, the pens overall length is 14cm. An attractive fountain pen in an uncommon pink colouring.
