| Sheaffer fountain pen manufactured in Canada circa 1932 coloured in jade green. The length is 13.5 centimetres. This model is called Telephone Dialer.
The cap is clipless having a ribbon ring inset into the caps top. The gold plating on the caps toggle ring trim band and the side lever is in excellent condition. There is a slight discolouration on the cap in the area where the chimney into which the nib slots when the cap is on,is inset inside the cap.
Ink filling is by side lever method, a new rubber ink sac has been fitted. The barrel tapers towards its end designed to fit into the telephones of the period hence the name Phonedialer Pen.
A super original Sheaffer Lifetime fine point gold nib in as new condition is fitted. The Sheaffer White Dot lifetime guarantee emblem is set into the cap. Clearly engraved on the barrel are the words W.A.SHEAFFER PEN CO. OF CANADA Ltd. TORONTO ONTARIO with patent dates to 1912. |
