| A 1935 standard size lady set manufactured at Fort Madison Iowa USA by the WA Sheaffer Pen Company. Ink filling is by plunger method accessed by unscrewing the section at the end of the pens barrel just a few turns and withdrawing the plunger rod, after lowering the nib into the ink.
The pen is fully ink filled as the plunger rod is gently pushed back into the barrel section. The center section of the fountain pens barrel has transparent lanes within the gold pattern which enable ink reservoir viewing. |
