| Introduced in 1959 the largest of the Sheaffer snorkel ink filling fountain pens. Production of these robust and outstandingly distinguishable fountain pens ceased in 1968, this being a relatively short run of production makes these models rather scarce to acquire nowadays.
Whilst called the Pen For Men, possibly in part due to this pens excellent writing performance, these models are indeed equally used by the ladies. What makes this particular pen very special is the four short lines of old style Chinese writing characters which are lightly engraved onto the pens barrel section. This pen was given in August 1968 as a gift by a Chinese gentleman.
