A 1995 Yard O Lead Viceroy sterling silver fountain pen finished in a chased barley pattern. Ink filling is by the fitted converter piston method alternatively if preferred this may be removed for ink cartridge filling.
The barrel and the cap and the nib holding forward section are silver hallmarked, this pen features a sterling silver forward section. On the standard model this section is made in black celluloid material, the silver pocket clip is engraved with the pens identification number. The 18 carat two tone gold and silver medium point nib being elaborately engraved with ornate scroll work.
Founded in 1834 the Yard O Led Company derived its name from their prestigious range of silver propelling pencils which held twelve spare leads, in length these added up to make one yard of pencil lead.
A very eye catching top quality fountain pen. New and unused.
