Classic Fountain Pen

A Swan Blackbird model BB2 41 fountain pen. Coloured in mottled light and darker shades of green.

The Blackbird emblem is clearly engraved on the clip and is again engraved clearly on the barrel with the wording Blackbird Mabie Todd & Co Ltd. On the base of the barrel, the model number is clearly engraved.The side lever has some brassing specks where the gold plating is worn. On the upper part of the cap the word Blackbird is again engraved. The nib is in superb condition, a Blackbird 14 carat gold medium point size.

An extremely nice uncommon pen from yesteryear attractively coloured. Length 12.2 centimetres.
