Swan Fountain Pen And Pencil Set and Case 1940s

A Swan model 3160 fountain pen with a fyne poynt model Swan propelling pencil matching set.The propelling pencil has the wording Fyne Poynt engraved at the top of the clip and again on the cap section of the barrel. The gold plating is in as good as new condition. The fountain pen a model 3160 has the 1937 style of Swan emblem engraved on the barrel and the Swan emblem is again on the top of the clip. The single gold trim band is very slightly warped in its alignment. The Swan emblem and engraved wording is as sharp and clear as the day when it was engraved on the barrel. The 14 carat gold Swan size 1 broad point nib is in superb condition. This set comes with the original soft blue leather pocket carrying zip up pouch which has a fawn coloured shot silk cushioned inner lining, printed inside on this material is the wording Swan Pen and Fyne poynt pencil. Rare to find such a Swan pen and pencil set in such good condition and with the original fine morocco leather soft zip carrying case.
