A 1949 Swan leverless Torpedo fountain pen model 4230. The size 2 medium point Swan 14 carat gold nib is in superb condition. On the pens barrel the Swan emblem is clearly engraved. The ID type number 4230 is engraved at the end of the barrel.

End section twist ink filling method. A new rubber ink sac has been fitted. There are some signs of general use. A small ding on the cap and a shallow hairline short scratch on the barrel twist fill section, these are not prominent. The gold plating on the trim bands and clip is in very good condition.

Well over 50 years old. A very nice scarce fountain pen in an uncommon colouring.
