| Clearly engraved in skript lettering on the pens barrel section is The Burnham over British Make.
The wide gold plated trim band flanked either side by the normal width slimmer bands on the pens cap conform with the pens whole style confirming a high quality top of the series model manufactured within the late 1920s to early 30s period.
The gold plated teardrop design pocket clip with the company's initial B engraved within a raised diamond shaped outline at the top of the clip is presumed to be a rare feature previousely not seen on Burnham pens.
On the circular lifting end of the gold plated side lever the letter B is again engraved. A new rubber ink sac has been fitted. The flared wing design Burnham 14 carat gold medium but slightly broad medium size nib is in perfect condition. An elegant authentic eye catching fountain pen. |
