Granted full independence on 31st. of August 1957, was under Japanese military occupation during 1941 to 1945. Formerly a member of the British Commonwealth.
The artwork of Malay artist A.B.Ibrahim has today become very much appreciated, his original work having become well sought after, particularly his early work such as this authentic watercolour painting. Size 27cm. x 18cm.
Some of his work is today exhibited in the Kula Lumpur twin towers.
