| Produced in about the late 1930s period a fountain pen made by the Unique pen company. The three trim bands denoting a top of the series model manufactured in varied shades of green celluloid material with a cross hatching pattern of fine lines similar to that known as the candy stripe pattern. During the years before the end of the second World War production was severely restricted by the board of trade, throughout this period the Unique company were only allowed to make 2 model types.
Despite their reputation for making good quality fountain pens the Unique company finally ceased business in 1958. The company 3 leaf clover logo is apparent seen on the end of the distinctly designed pocket clip. The nib is in perfect condition, It is rare to find that the 14 carat gold nib is a Unique company nib rather than a standard warranted type nib produced during these years by specialist nib makers. A superb fountain pen in pristine condition being an authentic model which will appeal to serious pen collector enthusiasts.
