A scarce WH Smiths fountain pen circa mid to late 1920s possibly early 1930 period. This pen can easily be completely disassembled for cleaning. Ink filling is by withdrawing the piston rod pump method. Clearly engraved on the barrel is the wording WHS inset into the companys emblem shaped circle Self filling pen.
Having a superb WHS 14 carat gold nib. The cork fitted onto the retractable rod is worn and should be replaced. An excellent pen for the keen collector as an example of this scarce model but not really practical if required for everyday writing use though.
