| The Wahl Eversharp Company commenced production of fountain pens in 1921 beginning with their all metal pen series.
This clipless short length fountain pen was made in Canada in about the mid 1920s, designed as a short ladies model pen which could easily fit into a purse or handbag.
The base metal is assumed to be brass silver filled and finished with a gold overplating. There is some very slight wear of the gold plating at the hand held gripping point for writing, which is not prominent.
The 14 carat gold Wahl Eversharp nib is a medium point size. Ink filling is by side lever aerometric pressure bar method.
Rather a nice and perhaps unusual pen of the middle 1920s period. |
