SOLD. Eversharp four square propelling pencil in the popular Art Deco style attractive design of elongated chequered red and black patterning. Housed in the original presentation box with the paper pamphlet explicitly detailling how to operate and how to insert or replace the spare leads. This rare high quality Wahl Eversharp propelling pencil is unused, still having the Eversharp paper sticker glued on the barrel. The cap or top section is detachable reversing this section reveals the india rubber eraser. Spare leads are kept inside the barrel. The internal propel expel mechanism incorporates a clutch which holds the back end of the lead. The Eversharp Company started out by specialising in top quality pencils in 1914 then added their equally innovative superior fountain pens in 1921. Ceasing business in 1957. Such examples as this unique classic propelling pencil have now become well sought after by enthusiast collectors. Rare and in new unused condition.
