The dome shaped top of the cap is in a dark blue colour whilst the main cap and barrel sections are in black. Round the gold plated cap clip securing band on the upper part of the cap the wording Eversharp Skyline pat. U.S.A. is finely engraved. The unique style of the gold plated pocket clip is known as the over the top clip with the double check marks denoting the Eversharp emblem of guarantee. Ink filling is by the side lever action.
