SOLD. A mid 1920s Waterman Ideal model 52 fountain pen. A Clip less model although a nickel plated detachable pocket clip has been attached.The machine chased fine pattern on the barrel is faint. Engraved around the end of the barrel is the wording WATERMAN registered U.S.Patent Office made in U.S.A. Engraved on the barrel is the Waterman IDEAL emblem.Ink filling is by the nickel plated side lever which has the IDEAL Globe emblem seen at the levers lifting end. The Waterman gold IDEAL nib is engraved further with the registered patent. This nib is in pristine condition and a new rubber ink sac has been fitted.
