Waterman France Fountain Pen 1970s

A Waterman France fountain pen. The date of manufacture appears to to early 1970s. The cap has a French gold hallmark thought to be 23 carat gold. Around the base end of the cap the wording DOUBLE OR LAMINE is engraved. The gold pocket clip has WATERMANS engraved down its length. With the cap on the pens overall length is 13.4cm. On the top of the cap a large letter W in engraved. The barrel is manufactured in black celluloid material with a gold end of barrel blind plate. The Waterman 18 carat gold nib size 3 France has a fairly fine point. Ink filling is by capillary method if the pen has not been used for some time then when the nib section is briefly immersed in ink the ink flow will be reactivated. Clearly a high quality fountain pen.
