SOLD. In 1905 Watermans introduced the attached to the cap pocket clip a ball end design clip riveted on to the cap of the pen. This lead to the famous Watermans new pocket Clip Cap model. This eye dropper model 12 pen is clearly identified by the type of pocket Clip Cap as one of the first of this type in that it has the Clip Patent Date 1905 engraved with the IDEAL emblem on the clip second Patent 1909. Manufactured in Canada with the Watermans IDEAL gold nib made at Watermans factory New York. A fine point nib looking as if new. Over 100 years old yet in pristine condition. Overall length over 5 inches. Produced in black hard rubber material with a chased patterning finish polished to a good sheen. The Watermans IDEAL emblem and engraving on the barrel is clearly readable.
