A 1920s Watermans Ideal eye dropper model 72 clip less fountain pen produced in hard rubber with a chased patterning of linked wave type lines. Manufactured in the USA.
Clearly engraved on the barrel is the wording WATERMANS IDEAL FOUNTAIN PEN NY USA. The last engraved Patent date is August 1903. The model number 72 is engraved on the base end of the barrel.The chased patterning is sharp and clear.
The gold Watermans nib a size 2 is also engraved with the extra wording US patent office, a medium point nib. The pens length is 13.2cm. A superb 1920s eye dropper in excellent condition.
